According to The Hill:
“Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) on Monday chided President Obama for meeting with his favorite rapper but not finding time to talk with the lawmaker about civil liberties.
Amash was responding to a report that Obama recently met with Kendrick Lamar in the Oval Office, where a White House aide said they shared a personal moment.
“Yet he won’t meet with me to discuss civil liberties and surveillance issues despite repeated requests,” Amash tweeted.
Amash clarified in a follow-up tweet that he thought it was “great” Obama met with Lamar but that he “should meet with members of Congress on critical issues.”
