2016 GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump blasted Starbucks this week after controversy ensued over the removal of Christmas and holiday symbols from their coffee cups.
According to The Hill:
“Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump suggested boycotting Starbucks after the coffeehouse chain opted for a simpler holiday cup.
“Did you read about Starbucks?” Trump asked supporters during a rally in Springfield, Ill., on Monday, according to the Washington Post. “No more ‘Merry Christmas’ at Starbucks. No more. Maybe we should boycott Starbucks,” Trump said.
“If I become president, we’re all going to be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again. That I can tell you. That I can tell you! Unbelievable,” Trump added.”
