Donald Trump’s shortlist for Vice President candidates is down to just 4 names…
According to Politico:
“Donald Trump’s list of potential vice presidential picks is “no more than four” names, former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told CNN Thursday.
Appearing on CNN for the first time since becoming a political commentator for the network, the newly discharged Trump staffer told Erin Burnett that the presumptive Republican nominee’s list of choices for a running mate was “very, very short” at the time of his firing.
“It’s no more than four individuals right now, and these are the absolute very best. People that everyone will know,” Lewandowski said. “They’re household names. They’re people that he has said will help him achieve his legislative agenda, people who are going to be very, very happy when he final makes the determination of which one of those he’s going to select.”
Lewandowski also rejected reports that the number of people willing to serve as Trump’s vice president was dwindling, saying the campaign’s selection pool was filled with eager participants.”
