Jeb Pounds Pavement for Cash

In what increasingly appears to be signs that he will indeed enter the fray among the growing list of GOP White House hopefuls, Jeb Bush has been making visits around Wall Street to secure financial support for his ultimate bid.

An anonymous financial industry insider told The New York Daily News of the meetings that have included ’10 to 16 Wall Street executives’, “He’s been having these secret visits with guys who can write six and seven-figure checks.”

This week Bush met with supporters at a Manhattan bank, only one of several similar trips to raise critical seed cash ahead of what may be an announcement as early as Late winter or early Spring of 2015.

Jeb’s spokeswoman Kristy Campbell detailed, “Governor Bush has not made a decision whether or not to run for president in 2016, but will make a decision at the end of this year or the beginning of next.”
