As if the Democrat Party didn’t already have enough bad news, the ongoing Ebola scare is following the way of the immigration crisis early this year as it latches onto the slowly sinking electoral ship that is Democrat power in Congress.
According to a new poll conducted by Politico, Republicans most likely to vote have the most distrust of the federal government’s handling of the Ebola situation.
A mere 43% of Republicans in the Senate toss-up states harbored the White House’s handling of the virus with either ‘a lot’ or ‘some’ confidence. But 81% of Democrat voters indicated the same. This correspond with an Oct. 12-14 poll form Fox News.
Fully 33% of all voters indicated either ‘not much’ or ‘none at all’ concerning confidence in the administration’s handling. With GOP voter intensity eclipsing that of Democrats, this is just one more notch in the belt for Republican turnout models on Nov. 4th.
