Campaign season for 2020 is already in full swing. Multiple Democrats have already declared (or hinted at) their presidential intentions. And a Fox News poll this week says a majority of Americans think a Democrat will defeat President Trump in 2020:
Of the chances that an unspecified Democrat will unseat Trump, “[a] 55-percent majority say [the odds are] either excellent (19 percent) or good (36 percent) while 39 percent think they have either no chance (13 percent) or not much of one (26 percent).”
According to RealClearPolitics’ polling average, Trump is currently pulling around 43.6% approval.
That same aggregator has former Vice President Joe Biden, who has at this time not publicly announced an intention to run in 2020, comfortably ahead of other Democrats in the pack.
