“Trey Gowdy Elected Speaker Of The House.” Imagine waking up one day to that headline?

So far, Gowdy, the popular Congressman from South Carolina who heads up the House’s Benghazi investigation, is the run away favorite to replace John Boehner as Speaker of the House.

In a Conservative Intelligence Briefing poll asking who should replace Boehner, Gowdy is winning in a landslide.

Gowdy garners nearly 90% of the vote, with Rep. Jason Chaffetz grabing 10% and Florida Rep. Curt Clawson grabbing 2%.
