Obama Promises Veto of GOP Tax Cuts

Without so much as an outline of a potential plan, the Obama White House is already threatening to veto a House tax renewal proposal, whatever it may be.

White House mouthpiece Jennifer Friedman explained of the president’s opposition to the yet undrafted idea, reports FOXNews Politics “The president would veto the proposed deal because it would provide permanent tax breaks to help well-connected corporations while neglecting working families.”

Democrats who support the president’s veto threat counter that the extension of previous tax breaks would be heavily skewed to corporations and ‘leave poor, working families’ out in the cold.

But a group of bipartisan supporters of the deal point to ‘trade-offs’ that include individual tax-breaks for tuition, transit, and state and local taxes.
