Apparently, Alison Lundergan Grimes and Mark Begich weren’t sufficient cautionary tales and now Democrat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen has stepped in it as well. She was asked point blank whether she would approves of the Barack Obama’s job as President… “Yes or No.” Shaheen hemmed on her answer, which drew laughter from the crowd at the televised debate in the Granite State.
She ducked, “In some ways I approve, and some things I don’t approve. Like most questions that we deal with as policymakers there aren’t simple answers, yes or no.”
Likewise, things continue to get worse for Democrat Sen. Kay Hagan who appears to be losing her grip on a slim lead in North Carolina against Republican Thom Tillis.
Hagan was a no-show for her last televised debate with Tillis in which moderators appeared with Tillis and Hagan’s empty chair. Her absence came amid new charges of corruption and insider deals which surely were on the list of questions for the debate.
