Did Donald Trump Just Call For A Starbucks Boycott Over Christmas Cup Controversy?

2016 GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump blasted Starbucks this week after controversy ensued over the removal of Christmas and holiday symbols from their coffee cups.

According to The Hill:

“Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump suggested boycotting Starbucks after the coffeehouse chain opted for a simpler holiday cup.

“Did you read about Starbucks?” Trump asked supporters during a rally in Springfield, Ill., on Monday, according to the Washington Post. “No more ‘Merry Christmas’ at Starbucks. No more. Maybe we should boycott Starbucks,” Trump said.

“If I become president, we’re all going to be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again. That I can tell you. That I can tell you! Unbelievable,” Trump added.”

  1. It’s a CUP. A piece of PAPER. If you can’t handle a plain red cup, WRITE ON IT, or don’t buy their stuff! Can we move on to things that REALLY MATTER, like the homeless, people who can’t pay their bills, people who have no heat this winter, people who can’t afford to buy their kids something for Christmas, let alone buy Starbucks? GET OVER THIS CRAP AND MOVE ON TO THE REAL STUFF!!!
