Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has “declared war” on Big Tech, writes Liz Peek at The Hill.
DeSantis asked the Florida legislature to pass a $100,000 per day fine on social media companies that “deplatform” a political candidate to deter them from silencing conservative voices.
In recent months, the liberal bias of Big Tech has become clear. They suppressed information on Hunter Biden’s shady dealings, attacked conservative’s ability to express themselves, and showed open contempt for anyone who isn’t a leftist.
Gov. DeSantis’s actions should be lauded for standing up to the liberal social media giants that are trying to crush free speech.
