The Michigan Trump Republicans are kicking off their 2018 statewide tour March 23rd in Troy with a big guest: President Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.
The event starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 23 at the American Polish Cultural Center, located at 2975 E. Maple Rd in Troy. Doors open at 5, and regular admission and VIP ticket options are available. For more information, as well as to register, CLICK HERE.
Officially known as the “Road To The White House Runs Through Michigan Tour,” MTR will hold events all across the Great Lakes State in the coming months.
Lewandowski recently released a best-selling book, “Let Trump be Trump,” with David Bossie, giving an insider’s view of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Lewandowski was in Michigan last month, speaking to over 500 grassroots conservative activists at “BattleCry,” an annual political conference.
MTR co-founder Meshawn Maddock says Lewandowski was excited to return.
“Lewandowski’s recent visit to Michigan rocked conservatives and Republicans with the Trump campaign energy we saw during 2016,” Maddock said. “Corey immediately said ‘yes’ when we asked him to return to Michigan.”
Maddock believes Lewandowski will provide important insight.
“Between Corey’s important role to help elect President Trump, as well as his current role as a Trump adviser, we know his comments will enlighten and inspire all who attend,“ Maddock said. “Corey knows the critical role Michigan has on the national political scene.”
The Michigan Trump Republicans formed in 2017 to help promote the President’s agenda, as well as build on his historic 2016 victory in Michigan to win the state again in 2020.
MTR events have been attended by thousands of voters from Traverse City to Detroit, many new to the political process after being inspired by President Trump.
MTR has been so successful, they recently helped grassroots activists in Florida launch “Florida Trump Republicans,” and other states could soon follow.
Maddock says Michigan Trump Republicans are working hard to win the state for the President in 2020, as well as to keep it red this fall.
“MTR has worked relentlessly across Michigan to deliver accurate information about Trump’s amazing first year accomplishments,” Maddock said. “We are working to keep Michigan ‘red’ in 2018 and 2020!”
