“This Situation Will Be Handled”: Trump Promises New Sanctions for North Korea

After speaking with Chinese President Xi Jinping earlier today, President Trump stated that additional sanctions would be placed on the North Korean regime:

Today, North Korea announced that its “breakthrough” missile could reach the continental United States. In September, Trump re-added the regime to the list of countries engage in state-sponsored terrorism. North Korea responded with its first missile test later that month.

The president also last night reiterated the need for Congress, particularly its Democratic members who do not seem interested in working, to get its act together:

Congress has until December 8 to figure out a must-pass federal spending bill.
