Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank has revealed himself to be one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters when it comes to the new President’s business practices. In an interview on Tuesday, Plank was eager to praise President Trump, citing his “decisive nature” and ability to make “bold decisions”.
Plank further explained: “To have such a pro-business president is something that is a real asset for the country. People can really grab that opportunity. He wants to build things. I’m a big fan of people that operate in the world of ‘publish and iterate’ versus ‘think, think, think, think, think. So there’s a lot of respect there.”
Trump started his Presidency with a plethora of pro-business decisions, such as orders mandating that federal agencies repeal two regulations for each new one they add, meeting with a council of business leaders. Trump is also expected to loosen regulations for Wall Street, including Dodd-Frank.
