According to The Hill:
“Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Thursday that President Obama is “directly responsible” for the mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub that left 49 people dead and many more wounded.
The Arizona senator claimed Obama was responsible for the shooting because he allowed for the growth of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria during his presidency, ABC News reported.
“Barack Obama is directly responsible for it, because when he pulled everybody out of Iraq, al-Qaida went to Syria, became ISIS, and ISIS is what it is today thanks to Barack Obama’s failures, utter failures, by pulling everybody out of Iraq,” ABC News said, describing McCain as “visibly angry.”
