Hillary Clinton received another dose of bad news this week after the latest CBS News poll was released showing Bernie Sanders’ continued success.
According to the poll, Sanders has catapulted to 52% support among New Hampshire primary voters, far outpacing Hillary’s 30% base.
Similarly, Sanders has increased his lead in Iowa to a 10-point margin where he commands Hillary 43% to 33%.
Hillary still leads in the third among the early primaries, South Carolina, but it’s a state that also happens to boast a very strong base for Vice President Joe Biden.
South Carolina Democrats give Hillary a healthy 46% but Biden already commands 22% without having announced for the White House.
That added to Sanders’ 23% base demonstrates Hillary’s low ceiling could already be hit and that a Biden candidacy may likely surpass it in a matter of two weeks.
