The first and most critical Republican primary debate is only nine days away, and the last minute scramble for pole position is in full swing.
According to two recent national polls, former HP CEO Carly Fiorina has pulled into the top ten which, if included in Fox News’ yet-unpublished formula for calculation, could earn her a spot on the debate stage.
In the most recent PPP survey of likely GOP primary voters, Fiorina is now tied for sixth place with Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, all at 4%.
Similarly, she is tied with Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee in seventh place at 3% in the latest Economist poll.
