Obama Brings Ferguson to the White House

With violence and protests continuing to sweep the nation in the wake of the Ferguson grand jury’s ‘no charges’ announcement last week, President Obama has decided the issue deserves executive attention.

FOXNews Politics reports that Obama will convene a meeting of his cabinet, members of the law enforcement community, and civil rights leaders to discuss the use of military-style armament by local police forces and “mistrust between law enforcement and communities of color.”

That clashes between police forces and largely minority communities have continued to underscore Obama’s inability to ‘heal the racial divide in America’. If anything, conservative critics charge, Obama has fueled racial tension in America.

A number of largely minority-led responses to Ferguson have been seen in major cities across the country including Los Angeles, Dallas and Washington, DC.
