Twitter has removed Alex Jones and Infowars off the social media paltform the company announced Thursday afternoon.
The decision comes one day after a heated confrontation between Jones and Senator Marco Rubio, as well as a Congressional hearing for Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.
Facebook removed Jones a few weeks ago.
According to Politico:
“Twitter permanently suspended Alex Jones and his far-right website InfoWars Thursday, citing tweets and videos that violated its policies against abusive behavior.
The action came a day after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey testified to two congressional committees about his company’s content decisions.
Jones appeared at the hearings and clashed in the halls of Congress with reporters and Sen. Marco Rubio.”
