“Bernie Sanders is threatening to upset Hillary Clinton in Nevada, where Democratic voters will caucus Saturday.
CNN aired an early entrance poll at about 3:30 p.m. showing Sanders leading Nevada with 49 percent support, ahead of Clinton’s 47 percent. Three percent were uncommitted. The network cautioned that the numbers are far from conclusive.
Clinton once held a safe lead at the polls, but that has disappeared in the wake of strong showings by Sanders in Iowa and New Hampshire.
A win in Nevada, where one poll showed Clinton this week with just a one-point edge on Sanders, would give the Vermont senator more momentum ahead of South Carolina’sFeb 27 primary.”
