Watch: Rand Paul Blasts Rubio For Reckless Spending, Corrects Trump On China

Senator Rand Paul had a breakout night Tuesday in Milwaukee, with multiple media outlets strongly praising Paul’s performance as the Kentucky Senator sought to continue the recent momentum of a viral video that has grabbed nearly 100 million views.

Paul blasted Senator Marco Rubio at the Fox Business Debate, hitting the Florida Senator for his plan that would add a trillion dollars in new spending without providing a way to pay for it.

Paul contends $1 trillion in new spending that is unpaid for is not consistent with Conservative values.

Paul also corrected Donald Trump after the real estate mogul mistakenly insinuated China was part of the “ObamaTrade” deal.

  1. Trump was using China as an example of our bad trade deals like he often does. Paul was correcting him unecessarily. It’s just yet another attempt to make Trump look bad when he was the savviest person on that stage. These career politicians like Paul only know about the issues the soundbytes their aides priime them with. Trump actually knows about dealing with foreign countries. Whatnthe hell does Rand know?

    • No, Trump just doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He needs to drop out and take his TV deal. The circus is over, it’s time to get down to the serious business of picking a president. Trump needs to let the grown ups talk now.

      • Trump was RIGHT

What the above outlines is the very
thing Donald Trump said – China is once again outsmarting us and
sneaking in through the back door. It should also be noted that TPP
rules include strict environmental regulations – primarily for the
United States and other more developed nations. China wanted nothing to
do with such economically prohibitive rules and so has, and continues to
make trade agreements of its own accord which includes getting a
bilateral agreement with the United States.

It appeared no-one on that stage last night was aware of the above
facts, and yet, the media is already spinning how Senator Paul
“fact-checked” Donald Trump. Mr. Trump never said China was part of the
TPP. What he did say is that China will take advantage of that agreement
which stifles American job creation while likely further increasing
already lopsided trade imbalances between this nation and others.

Donald Trump is right – the TPP is a horrible deal in relation to creating jobs here at home and China knows it.

  2. I found Rand Paul, John Kasich and Bobby Jindal embarrassing. Their constant bashing of other Republican candidates was deplorable.

    • Rand didn’t bash any other candidates. He just disagreed with them on policy. That’s what you’re supposed to do in a debate, not personal attacks like you see from Trump. Too my knowledge, Trump is the only person Rand has ever attacked. Which is fine, because Trump isn’t a Republican and he asked for it.

  3. China opted out of the TPP because of environmental restrictions, but still benefit from separate trade accords with nations that are part of the TPP. So there was no fact checking, The Donald understands this, Rand Paul does not.

  4. Actually TRUMP WAS RIGHT.
