President Joe Biden will not release the number of illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States to the American public. The number of immigrants with expired Visas has, however, been provided to Congress, but the data stops there.
The Immigration and Naturalization Service Data Management Improvement Act of 2000 states that the government must provide a report of this data annually, and that a portion of the data should be available to the public, provided by the Department of Homeland Security. Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama both provided this information during their terms.
