The Court will hear a Mississippi court case called Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that challenges the state’s 15-week abortion ban. Mississippi bans all abortions after 15 weeks unless the mother’s health is threatened. This case will allow the Supreme Court to reexamine the evidence surrounding Roe v. Wade, which was decided decades ago on faulty science that has since been debunked.
