U.S. Capitol needs wall to protect Congress, says police chief

Acting U.S. Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman said that a “permanent fencing” barrier will be needed to protect members of Congress, reports Catherine Smith at American Greatness.

After attacking Donald Trump’s “Build the Wall” policy for four years, Democrats are now fine with constructing walls to keep themselves safe. At Joe Biden’s inauguration, a barrier with barbed wire was used to keep attendees safe.

By making such a statement, Congress is implicitly saying that walls work to stop illegal activity.
