Progressive Democrats have a problem: Joe Biden looks indestructible.
None of the odd, gaffe-worthy moments from Biden have hurt him in the polls. Progressive Lili Loofbourow complains in Slate that he could do almost nothing from now until the Democratic convention and still win.
The candidates that the Left champions have all had their moments, but Biden remains the steady favorite in poll after poll. Warren rose to the top, then Buttigieg, then Sanders but after their short stint at the top were quickly replaced by the former Delaware senator.
Leftist commentators are pining for anybody but the near-octogenarian. Despite their best efforts, it looks more likely that Biden will be the nominee.
