The U.S. economy felt yet another job increase last month, to the tune of 241,000 new jobs. This is the fifth month in a row that new jobs added or created numbers 200,000 or more.
“Analysts had expected 205,000 to 210,000 new jobs,” to be added in March, according to Fox Business, but real numbers exceeded these expectations. The outlet also states that this news “augurs a strong report from the Labor Department’s employment report on Friday.”
The March jobs boost and the running theme of steady job growth could be behind growing optimism about the future among many Americans, particularly with regard to the economy.
