President Trump hasn’t made a decision yet whether or not to talk to Special Counsel Robert Mueller for the ongoing Russia investigation.
Trump recently told reporters “we’ll see” when asked about the issue.
According to Politico:
“President Donald Trump on Wednesday declined to commit to an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller’s team in the investigation into Russian election interference, saying it is “unlikely” he would even be called to testify.
“We’ll see what happens. I mean, I’ll see what happens,” Trump said during a joint news conference with Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway at the White House.
The president insisted that no “collusion” between officials from his campaign and the Kremlin had been found in the Justice Department investigation. As a result, he said, he doesn’t think there would be a need for him to speak to the special counsel.
“When they have no collusion and nobody’s found any collusion at any level, it seems unlikely that you’d even have an interview,” Trump said.”
