Meuller’s team has made over $60,000 in political donations in the last 30 years. Of those donations, “$62,043 went to Democrats and $2,750 to Republicans,” Politifact reports.
According to CNN, at least 5 of mullers team have donated to Democrat candidates and causes:
- One has donated “$33,000 to political campaigns over the years,” including “Democratic presidential candidates Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.”
- Another gave donated $12,700 to the Obama and Hillary Clinton presidential campaigns.
- Two donated the legal maximum $2700 to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
