Doug Jones leads 50% to 49% with over 90% of precincts reporting. The problem for Roy Moore is all remaining areas are significantly in favor of Jones.
Jones victory is a win for Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, as well as establishment Republicans.
The Senate is now divided 51-49, making it even harder for President Trump to advance the #MAGA agenda.
Jones will soon be sworn in to the US Senate by Vice President Mike Pence. He is the first Democrat to win a Senate election in Alabama in decades.
