During a speech at the Chicago Economic Club Tuesday night, former President Barack Obama compared President Donald Trump to Hitler.
According to Kristen Schorsch of Crain’s Chicago, Obama “didn’t mince words” while attacking President Trump.
“The danger is growing complacent,” Obama said. “We have to tend to this garden of democracy or things could fall apart quickly.”
Obama didn’t stop there.
“That’s what happened in Germany in the 1930’s, which despite the democracy of the Weimar Republic and centuries of high level cultural and scientific acheivments, Adolph Hitler rose to dominate. 60 million people died…so you’ve got to pay attention-and vote.”
Wow. What a sickening comparison for a former President to make against a sitting commander in chief! America deserves better.
