Hillary Aide Insists on Immunity Before Any Testimony

Hillary Clinton Bryan Pagliano

Embattled Hillary aide Bryan Pagliano rejected an offer on Wednesday from Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson for a “proffer statement” in exchange for possible immunity.

The statement would be a sort of preview of what Pagliano might offer in testimony concerning the setup and maintenance of Hillary’s private home-based email server.

Maintaining his intention to plead the fifth in his appearance before the Select Committee on Benghazi today, Pagliano insisted through his attorney that he will offer no details without complete immunity.

Similar events unfolded during the investigation and hearings conducted by the House in the heat of the IRS scandal in which infamous IRS lead agent Lois Lerner was held in contempt after taking the fifth.
