Donald Trump says that President Obama chose to visit a mosque recently because he feels “comfortable” there.
According to The Hill:
“Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday chided President Obama for visiting a mosque, a move the president made in part as a counter to Trump’s controversial comments on Muslims.
“I don’t have much thought, I think he can go to lots of places. I don’t know, maybe he feels comfortable there,” Trump said Wednesday on Fox News’ “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren. “There are a lot of places he can go, and he chose a mosque.”
Obama’s visit to a Baltimore mosque Wednesday was his first visit to a mosque during his presidency, and he took the time to chide the “inexcusable” anti-Islamic rhetoric that’s boiled up recently.”
