It’s been a busy week with news and politics!
Here are the ten most important stories you need to know heading into the weekend:

10. $30 Million California Easter Heist Has Police Baffled
A stunning robbery of $30 million in cash during Easter weekend has police in Los Angeles wondering just what happened.
“Neighbors of a cash storage facility robbed of $30 million claim internet signals went down and they heard an explosion during the daring heist.
The FBI and LAPD are still trying to piece together how burglars breached the roof of GardaWorld in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Easter Sunday without triggering any alarms.
The mysterious crew gained access into the massive vault where they looted and escaped with around $30 million, the LAPD said.
Issa Alhosry, 22, co-owner of the nearby Kwik Market Deli said their WiFi, phones, and servers were down for hours on Sunday morning and into the evening. ‘We couldn’t get or make calls, not even on my cell phone,’ Alhosry told DailyMail.com.”

9. Biden Worried As Nebraska May Change Electoral Vote System
A plan to change the way Nebraska allocates its Electoral Votes has Joe Biden worried about his 2024 path to re-election.
“President Joe Biden’s campaign officials have been in private talks with Nebraska Democrats after Republicans in the state began pushing for changes that could close off one of the president’s clearest paths to reelection.
The campaign has declined to comment on that push, which would turn Nebraska into a winner-take-all state in presidential elections, as opposed to one that allocates a portion of its Electoral College votes based on results in individual congressional districts.
In elections past, Nebraska’s Electoral College votes were largely immaterial. But this cycle, Biden’s simplest path to reelection has long been seen as winning the old Democratic Blue Wall — Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin — and that Omaha-area district. Doing so would give Biden precisely the 270 electoral votes needed to win, even if he lost the remainder of the battleground states.
Some Biden officials have argued that Nebraska is not essential, noting that the president won Georgia, Arizona and Nevada in 2020. A victory in any of those, or flipping North Carolina, would give him a win provided he holds on to the Blue Wall. The Biden campaign declined to comment.
But some campaign aides and Democrats who obsess over the electoral map take seriously the challenges a change in Nebraska could pose. Both Arizona and Georgia, most Democratic strategists feel, appear far more difficult to win this time around, while Nevada always is won by razor-thin margins. North Carolina has been long circled by Biden’s advisers in Wilmington as the president’s one possible pickup. But the state has only gone Democratic once since 1976.”

8. Tensions Between Russia And NATO Escalating
Tensions between NATO and Russia are at a fever pitch, Russian leaders said this week.
“Russia and NATO are now in “direct confrontation,” the Kremlin said as the U.S.-led alliance marked its 75th anniversary on Thursday.
NATO’s successive waves of eastern enlargement are a fixation of President Vladimir Putin, who went to war in Ukraine two years ago with the stated aim of preventing the alliance from coming closer to Russia’s borders. Instead, the war has galvanized NATO, which has expanded again with the entry of Finland and Sweden.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters: “In fact, relations have now slipped to the level of direct confrontation.”NATO was “already involved in the conflict surrounding Ukraine (and) continues to move towards our borders and expand its military infrastructure towards our borders,” he said.
Putin has repeatedly said that Russia was cheated by the West in the aftermath of the Cold War as Moscow’s Warsaw Pact alliance was disbanded but NATO moved eastwards by taking in former pact members and the three Baltic states that had been part of the Soviet Union.”

7. The Rock Admits He Regrets Supporting Joe Biden In 2020, Won’t Endorse Him In 2024
Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson says he regrets endorsing Joe Biden and won’t make the same mistake again.
“Dwayne The Rock Johnson has admitted he regretted endorsing Joe Biden in 2020 and won’t be backing him in 2024.
The WWE legend added that he isn’t happy with the state of America right now and left open the chance of running for office himself in the future. He has now concluded that his Biden endorsement led to ‘division.’
‘The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,’ he told Fox and Friends ‘I realize now going into this election, I will not do that, my goal is to bring this country together, he added.
‘I will keep my politics to myself. It is between me and the ballot box. Like a lot of us out there, not trusting of all politicians, I do trust the American people and whoever they vote for that is my president and who I will support 100 percent”

6. Biden And Netanyahu Talk As First Lady Reportedly Wants Joe To End The Gaza War
Joe Biden and Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu spoke this week via telephone as reports say First Lady Jill Biden wants her husband to end the War in Gaza.
“First lady Jill Biden has reportedly been privately urging President Biden to stop the war in Gaza, according to a conversation the president had with one of the attendees at a White House meeting with the Muslim community on Tuesday.
A guest at Biden’s meeting told the president that his wife disapproved of him attending the event over the Israel-Hamas war, according to The New York Times.
“Mr. Biden replied that he understood. The first lady, he said, had been urging him to ‘Stop it, stop it now,’ according to an attendee who heard his remarks,” the outlet reported.”

5. Judge Destroys Trump Prosecutor Jack Smith
The Judge in President Trump’s classified documents case absolutely destroyed Special Prosecutor Jack Smith in a dispute over jury instructions this week, a major warning sign Smith’s prosecution is in trouble.
“Special counsel Jack Smith strongly criticized a recent order by the judge presiding over the case of former President Donald Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents, saying that her request for jury instructions from his office and Trump’s lawyers is based on a “fundamentally flawed legal premise.”
In a court filing Tuesday, Smith argued that the legal premise behind Judge Aileen Cannon’s request is “wrong” and that it would “distort” the trial, potentially leading to a directed verdict in Trump’s favor.
The special counsel urged Cannon to “promptly” decide whether the legal premise in question represents a “correct formulation of the law,” and indicated that federal prosecutors would appeal if the judge rules against them.”

4. Israel Admits “Serious Mistake” In Bombing Of Food Workers
Israel’s military has admitted to a “serious mistake” after the bombing of food workers sparked international outrage.
“The Israel Defense Forces admitted culpability and fired two senior officers following an investigation into the airstrikes which killed seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen (WCK) on Monday.
It follows widespread global condemnation over the attack, including from Israel’s closest allies in its war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
An internal probe, which the IDF published results of on Friday, revealed significant errors and protocol violations that led to multiple strikes on an aid convoy belonging to the organization founded by celebrity chef José Andrés.”

3. “No Labels” Won’t Run Against Trump And Biden
The “No Labels” organization’s attempt to run a 3rd party candidate in a desperate attempt to stop President Trump has failed.
“No Labels will not run a third-party “unity” ticket against Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election, the group said Thursday.
In a statement, the centrist group said they were unable to find a candidate that had a credible path to winning on their hypothetical bipartisan platform — “so the responsible course of action is for us to stand down.”
“We will remain engaged over the next year during what is likely to be the most divisive presidential election of our lifetimes,” the group said. “We will promote dialogue around major policy challenges and call out both sides when they speak and act in bad faith.”

2. Rare Northeastern Earthquake Rocks New York And New Jersey
An extremely rare earthquake rocked the Northeast Friday morning, the largest in New Jersey in nearly 300 years.
“The New York City Police Department’s transit chief said there are “no current reports of any structural damage and/or service disruptions to the NYC Transit system” from the earthquake. The transit team is surveying all lines and stations.
Amtrak customers should expect delays in the wake of today’s quake, the company said.
“Amtrak regrets any inconvenience,” the company added in a statement on its website and on its social media accounts.
The earthquake that rumbled New Jersey this morning was the strongest in nearly 250 years and the third-strongest for the state in 280 years of record-keeping. The only two stronger ones were a 5.2-magnitude quake in 1737 and a 5.3 temblor in 1783, according to state data.”

President Trump speaks in Grand Rapids Tuesday, joined by Sheriffs across Michigan, as well as legislators, including Republican House Leader Matt Hall, and Republican Senate Leader Aric Nesbitt
1. President Trump Visits Grand Rapids After Ruby Garcia Murdered By A Drunk Illegal Who Shot Her, Then Ran Her Over
President Trump addressed media from across the world at a major press conference Tuesday in Grand Rapids.
Focused on “Biden’s Border Bloodbath,” Trump spoke about the violent crimes illegals have committed across Michigan, including the murder of Ruby Garcia last week.
Garcia was killed after being shot, run over, and left to die by a drunk illegal who had previously been deported under Trump.
The Police Officers Association Of Michigan also endorsed Mr. Trump during his visit.
“During campaign events in Michigan and Wisconsin on Tuesday, Donald Trump used the recent death of a Grand Rapids woman killed by a man who immigration officials say entered the country illegally to amplify his rhetoric on the campaign trail accusing President Joe Biden of causing a “bloodbath” at the U.S.-Mexico border.
The woman, 25-year-old Ruby Garcia, was found dead on the side of a Grand Rapids highway on March 22. Police say she was in a romantic relationship with the suspect, Brandon Ortiz-Vite, who is a citizen of Mexico.
Immigration has emerged as the focal point of Trump’s reelection campaign. He frequently highlights incidents involving immigrants to fuel concerns about Biden’s border policies and on Tuesday attempted to tie Garcia’s death to that of Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student who officials say was killed by a man who entered the U.S. illegally.”
