The federal appeals court does not seem convinced that the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program should be considered legal after hearing arguments from the Justice Department on Wednesday.
The program was ruled unlawful back in 2021 by U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen, however, the Department of Homeland Security has been able to “process DACA renewals as the issue moved through the courts.”
