California governor recall looks set to qualify

The recall of California governor Gavin Newson looks like it’s going to qualify for the ballot, reports Fox News.

The petition now has over 1.9 million signatures, organizers reported. They need 1.5 million signatures for the initiative to qualify for the ballot. Since all signatures need to be verified in order to count, organizers will need to over collect by roughly 500,000 to ensure they can certify with the Secretary of State.

If 1.5 million signatures are validated, the recall will head to the ballot this November where California’s voters will have final say over whether to recall their Far Left governor.
