Joe Biden refused to condemn China’s genocide of the Uighurs, reports Emily Jacobs at the New York Post.
China is confirmed to detain Uighur Muslims in “reeducation camps” as part of an effort to crush any dissent from the Chinese Communist Party. Instead of confronting China’s atrocities, Biden said he the U.S. would, ““reassert our role as spokespersons for human rights at the UN and other agencies. ”
Conservatives suspected that Biden would be weak on China. His lack of action on condemning genocide confirms those suspicions.
