San Francisco bans Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson from school names

The San Francisco School Board voted to remove the names of the Founding Fathers and other American heroes from all schools in the city, reports Byron York at the Washington Examiner.

Included in this name boycott are Francis Scott Key (writer of our National Anthem), Paul Revere, Theodore Roosevelt, and Father Junipero Serra. The reason given for the ban is to disbar those who “diminished the opportunities” of anyone else, although Abraham Lincoln and many others on the list explicitly worked against discrimination.

Similar to George Orwell’s 1984, the woke Left is stripping America of its history and pretending that it never happened. This madness must stop.
