For months, John James has accused Sandy Pensler, his opponent in the Michigan Republican US Senate race, of bashing President Trump, making fun of his speaking skills.
However, video has surfaced proving that Pensler was in fact complimenting President Trump.
Pensler argues that given President Trump’s high level of education and enormous wealth, the fact he can speak like the average American is a huge credit to his skills.
Pensler specializes in turning around failing companies on the brink of closing, James is an Iraq War Vet who helps run his family business.
Pensler leads James by double digits in polls of the race.
The election will be on August 7th, with the winner facing liberal Senator Debbie Stabenow in November.
