Michigan Senate: Pensler Leads, John James Falls To Third In New Mitchell Poll

John James (Jack Crowe DCNF)

A new poll in the Michigan Senate race shows John James has fallen to third place after being overtaken by Bob Carr.

Businessman Sandy Pensler, a supporter of President Trump who is running on a message of “Michigan First,” was in first place with 16% of the vote.

Carr received 11%, while John James received 8%. Over 60% of respondents were undecided.

The numbers for James must certainly be disappointing given his increased fundraising numbers last quarter, as well as endorsements from people like John Bolton, President Trump’s new National Security Adviser.

The poll was conducted by Mitchell Research and Communications, a Michigan based polling firm.

The winner of the race will face extreme liberal Senator Debbie Stabenow in November
