After former Vice President Joe Biden recently said he would have “beat the hell” out of President Trump in high school, Vice President Mike Pence is chiming in, saying that Trump would win that fight.
President Trump responded to Biden in a Twitter statement.
“Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy,” Trump said. “Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”
According to The Hill:
“Vice President Mike Pence suggested that he would pick President Trumpto win over former Vice President Biden if the two had a fight. Radio host Howie Carr asked Pence during an interview on his show Thursday which of the men the vice president would back in a possible fight.
“You know who I’d be betting on,” Pence said, laughing.
“It’s just a little bit of trash talk going on, just got to make your chuckle in American politics today,” he added.
Pence also said that he didn’t think it was “proper” for Biden to make his comments about physically fighting Trump.
“This president is a guy that knows how to fight, fight for our agenda, knows how to fight for all of what we’re doing to make America great again,” Pence said. “And he’s going to keep on fighting, I promise you.”
