Donald Trump is sick of Ted Cruz, calling the Texas Senator “unhinged.”
“Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump says rival Ted Cruz has “become more and more unhinged,” after Cruz went on the warpath against Trump amid escalating insults between the two candidates.
“Ted Cruz is a desperate candidate trying to save his failing campaign,” Trump said in a statement released by his campaign Tuesday. “It is no surprise he has resorted to his usual tactics of over-the-top rhetoric that nobody believes.”
Trump was referring to Cruz’s remarks earlier Tuesday that Trump is a “pathological liar,” “utterly amoral” and that he “has a real problem with women.”
The Texas senator was responding to Trump’s suggestion that Cruz’s father might have had something to do with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.”
