“Nice, France is on lockdown after a truck drove into a crowd during Bastille Day celebrations, according to multiple reports.
France’s BFM TV said at east 30 people were killed in the southern French town, although that number is expected to change as more information comes in.
The mayor of Nice said in a tweet that the incident left “dozens” dead and urged residents to stay home, saying “a lorry driver appears to have killed dozens of people”.
