Actor Jussie Smollett, convicted of lying to authorities for faking a hate crime, was released on a $150,00 bond today after only spending 6 days of his sentence. His lawyers argue that Smollett was in danger.

Alternatively, Smollett should have at least spent 75 days in jail with his sentence and good behavior.
