2016 Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski will be the keynote speaker at a rally taking place in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Thursday, December 5th.
The rally will be held at The DeltaPlex Arena. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the rally begins at 7:00 p.m.
The rally is free and open to the public, but attendees must register for a ticket here: https://www.etix.com/ticket/p/3339822/support-our-president-rally-grand-rapids-the-deltaplex
Lewandowski is considered one of Trump’s strongest allies. He served as his first campaign manager, helping lead him to victory in 2016.
Recently, he’s been praised for continuing to advocate for Trump and calling out Democrats for pushing a false narrative in an effort to impeach him.
The Grand Rapids, MI rally is being hosted by the owner of The DeltaPlex Arena, Joel Langlois, who is a candidate for Congress in Michigan’s 3rd District.
Trump supporters in West Michigan and across the state are being asked to come out to show their support for President Trump, and send a message to the nation that Michigan stands behind Trump and will reelect him in 2020.
MI-3 is currently represented by Justin Amash, one of the most outspoken critics of President Trump in the country. He was the only Republican to call for Trump’s impeachment, before leaving the Republican Party this summer and becoming an Independent.
Langlois just announced Anna Timmer will be speaking at the rally as well.
Timmer is the former Amash supporter who received national attention for standing up to Amash at his townhall this summer, blasting him for his stance on impeachment, political grandstanding, and failing to do his job.
“Anna Timmer had the courage to confront Amash and give a voice to so many of his constituents and Michigan conservatives who have been abandoned by him,” Langlois said.
In addition to Amash being from Grand Rapids, the rally being held there is significant for other reasons. Grand Rapids is in Kent County, which NBC recently named one of the top presidential battleground counties in the nation.
Langlois hosted Trump for rallies at The DeltaPlex three times in 2016, and Mike Pence for rallies twice.
Langlois is the clear favorite among Trump supporters in the MI-3 race. He was the only candidate to support Trump during the 2016 election.
He has already received endorsements from 2016 Michigan State Director for Trump Scott Hagerstrom, Republican National Committeewoman and 2016 Michigan Women for Trump co-chair Kathy Berden, and the Michigan Trump Republicans which is the largest organization of Trump supporters in the state.
