Twitter recently announced they are considering additional policy restrictions on “language that treats others as less than human,” including “comparing groups to animals and viruses.” However, they say the policy has not gone into affect and Mr. Farrakhan’s tweet does not currently violate any specific policies.
Facebook did remove the same video from Mr. Farrakhan’s Facebook page, saying it violated their Terms of Service.
