A new poll released by JMC Analytics shows Lt. Gov. Brian Calley is gaining momentum against front runner Bill Schuette in the Michigan Governor’s race.

Schuette, Michigan’s Attorney General, has been under fire in recent weeks for being under investigation by the FBI for using state employees on state time for his private luxury real estate deals.

The case was referred to the bureau by the Ingham County Prosecutor.

The new JMC poll shows Schuette with 25% and Calley with 17%. State Senator Patrick Colbeck and Dr. Jim Hines were in single digits.

Michigan voters will decide the race August 7th.
