At a speech Wednesday in New Hampshire, GOP Presidential hopeful Donald Trump blasted fellow White House contender Ted Cruz for supporting the nomination of John Roberts to the United States Supreme Court.

Trump says that because Roberts voted to uphold Obamacare twice, Cruz helped bring Obamacare to fruition.

According to The Hill:

“Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday placed the blame for ObamaCare squarely at rival Ted Cruz’s feet.

“If it weren’t for Ted Cruz — he’s the one that got Justice Roberts on the Supreme Court,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Little Rock, Ark.

“He pushed him, he approved him, and John Roberts approved ObamaCare twice when it should have been rejected. [Roberts’] vote got it over the top — Ted Cruz did that, Ted Cruz gave us ObamaCare.”

Cruz was not in the Senate in 2005 during Roberts’ confirmation, so he did not approve him with any vote. But he did publicly support his confirmation, a decision he has since said he regrets in light of multiple decisions by the Roberts court upholding the healthcare law’s constitutionality.”
